You play as Sifu who is the leading character of this game, a student who has devoted his life to his journey for revenge after the event of the murder of his family by a gang of assassins. He takes eight years to prepare himself for retaliation and he becomes a successful martial artist, by only depending on his martial arts skills he begins to kill culprits one by one by using over 150 unique moves, from which some moves grant him the power to stun and knock down the enemy.
